Triumph Bonneville T100 50th Anniversary Edition, 2009

Triumph Bonneville T100 50th Anniversary Edition, 2009

For 2009 Triumph has taken inspiration from the ‘70s for the iconic Bonneville, with significant updates for the coming year and a new version, the Bonneville SE, also joining the range. Both models feature authentic retro styling plus a host of chassis changes aimed at making the bikes easier to ride and giving them an even wider appeal. Visually, the most striking difference comes with the new 17” cast alloy wheels at the front and rear, shorter mudguards and stylish megaphone silencers from the sporty Thruxton.

New handlebars are closer to the rider and the seat height is reduced by 25mm, making the riding position more relaxed and accessible. The smaller, lighter front wheel helps make the new Bonneville an even more manoeuvrable and agile machine. Complementing the clean lines are classic black or white colour
options.

The higher-specification Bonneville SE features an array of special equipment, including a tacho, chromed tank badges and brushed alloy engine casings. The SE comes in a choice of solid Jet Black or a classic two-tone livery combining the dark Pacific Blue with Fusion White.

Riders looking for a Sixties-style Bonneville are catered for with the wire-wheeled T100 model, which has been updated with detail changes for 2009. The retro classic gets new handlebar clamps, restyled footrests, black clock surrounds and a white Triumph logo on the seat, while fork gaiters, previously available as an optional extra, come as standard.

Triumph also unveiled a limited edition 50th Anniversary Bonneville, based on the T100, and celebrating 50 years of this iconic motorcycle. Only 650 Bonneville T100 50th Anniversary edition bikes will be produced, echoing the engine capacity of the original ‘50s machine. Each will be individually numbered and identified with a brass plate on the handlebar clamp and a certificate of authentication.
Other features include a unique orange and blue colour scheme based on the 1959 ‘Tangerine Dream’ original, white piping and a gold Triumph logo on the seat, special decals on the side panels and a chromed cam cover.
Although the Bonneville family share the same name and timeless looks of the ‘60s and ‘70s machines, they feature a modern chassis and fuel-injected, 865cc twin-cylinder engine.

Hyosung SB50 Super Cab, 2009

Hyosung SB50 Super Cab, 2009

Small and nimble with a low centre of gravity, the electric-start Hyosung SB50 Super Cab has been assiduously crafted with a commercial focus in mind. Of course, it’s purely up to you, but a scooter which pays scant attention to the price of crude oil, tips the scales at a svelte 70kg, and has dual headlights for faultless night-time vision must be onto something good. What’s more, there’s enough underseat storage to swallow a helmet and associated nick-nacks, while an optional colour-matched top box stitches up the leftover cargo market. Telescopic front forks ensure a smooth ride on all road surfaces, and the zippy 50cc engine, feeding an automatic transmission, is indestructible. No longer does a low price mean you have to compromise on quality.

The SB50 Super Cab is speed-limited to comply with LA-category legislation, and can be ridden on a car licence in Qld, WA, SA and NT. Conditions apply, so check with your local dealer or licensing authority.

Features and Benefits:
Disk brake - Safe running is secured in any road condition by employing the disk brake of oil pump type holding firmly back and forth.

Employ telescopic shock absorber for 50 cc scooter for the first time in the country. - By installing telescopic shock-absorber with excellent shock-absorbing ability, it gives impression of driving in the paved street even driving on the dirt road.

Dual headlihgt - Dual headlight of 36 W offers covering safety.
Large size personal trunk - Rich and comfortable space that can keep helmet, bag, shopping bag etc.
Power engine of 6.5 horsepower - Super-cap that prides the strongest power in 50 cc displays excellent performance on any rough road by excellent eruption acceleration and sensitive throttle effect.

Hyosung Rush 50, 2009

 Hyosung Rush 50, 2009

Hyosung’s Rush 50 epitomises the neo scooter revolution. Traffic congestion is for everyone else, parking’s a cinch, there’s storage space galore, and the instrumentation is hip. In other words, nothing’s an obstacle. It’s agile, comfortable and confidence-inspiring, with large 12-inch alloy wheels carrying the load, and a hydraulic disc (front) and drum (rear) brake combination working in concert to provide predictable and safe braking. Then there’s the infectious zip from the 50cc two-stroke air-cooled engine, channelling its wares through a slick automatic transmission. Economy is exceptional. The Rush 50: a stylish solution to the everyday humdrum.

Hyosung Rally 50, 2009

Hyosung Rally 50, 2009

Hyosung’s rugged Rally 50 provides the perfect antidote to an increasingly difficult problem. Moreover, its chunky 10-inch tyres are the masters of grip, and will even maintain a strong foothold heading up grandpa’s gravel driveway. The Rally’s nifty flat-floor design allows plenty of room to carry cargo, and the off-road style cockpit and handlebars reek of sturdiness. Commuting’s no longer a chore, and parking is about position, not handing over your hard-earned to parking attendants. The Rally 50: a journey of discovery.

Husqvarna SM530RR, 2009

Husqvarna SM530RR, 2009

SM 530RR - HUSQVARNA. In 2008, Husqvarna once again showed its complete dominance of the Supermoto World Championships when Adrien Chareyre and his Husqvarna SMR 530 won two world titles.

To celebrate this success, Husqvarna has decided to present two limited-edition racing models this year, the SM 450RR and the SM 530RR. Both models will be fitted with the same racing components as the machines ridden by Adrien Chareyre, Gerald Delepine and Thomas Chareyre.

Now real off-road enthusiasts can take to the track on the same machines as world champions. The machines will have a completely new look starting from a new supermotard front mudguard and a special colour scheme to highlight their competitive, winning nature. The saddle has been specially designed to offer the rider better when accelerating.

The bikes will offer a TIG welded frame with adjustable steering head just like on the official Team Husqvarna machine as well as a shortened, black anodised swingarm to improve traction and manoeuvrability. The one-piece steering plate is made from anodised Ergal and the increased diameter steering pivot is in aluminium. The RRs will have Alpina tubeless STS rims with a 120/70 x 16.5 tyre at the front and a Dunlop 170/55 x 17 slick at the rear. The brakes are the real news item for this year with a one-piece caliper and pump.

The SM 450 RR and SM 530 RR have "Wave" discs with a 310mm disc up front for a better compromise between adjustability and stopping power. As regards suspension - up front there are 50 mm Marzocchi forks with a sealed cartridge unit and anodised black fork bottoms while, at the rear, there is a Sachs racing aluminium-bodied shock absorber and the frame is painted black.

The more powerful "race" engine is mated to a six-speed box derived from motocross versions as are the STM slipper clutch, the electric starter, the 41 mm Keihin carburettor and the special cams and pistons. In collaboration with Arrow, Husqvarna engineers designed a tailor-made exhaust system for the SM530 RR.

Like that on the SM 450 RR, it is made from titanium and features twin silencers. The heat shield is also made from titanium. The twin-coloured anodised aluminium filler cap is new as are the anodised Ergal racing handlebar clamps. These are one-piece items bearing the legendary Husqvarna name.
The motorcycles come supplied with spare sprockets and crown wheels and a set of steering rake sockets as well as a racing type side stand, racing brake and clutch levers and hand guards The machines are not homologated for use on the road and can only be ridden on a track. They will be available from early December through orders made through the Husqvarna sales network.
